Ebiquity, the media and marketing insights business, today opens an office in Moscow following its acquisition last week of The Joined Up Media Company, market leader in the Russian media auditing market.
JUMC provided media auditing and consultancy services across the CIS, CEE and other emerging markets. Ebiquity’s acquisition means that global advertisers will enjoy greater local expertise in these rapidly expanding territories. Conversely brand owners in these regions will benefit from Ebiquity’s global expertise in media, along with their expertise in other areas of marcoms like ROI, digital evaluation, reputation management, advertising monitoring and insight. This deal strengthens and formalises a relationship, which has seen Ebiquity and JUMC partner on many media projects in recent years.
JUMC was founded in 1999 by Glyn Harper who boasts over 30 year’s marketing experience in senior roles within blue chip multinational companies. The acquisition includes JUMC’s Russian company, a joint venture with The Decision Group, founded and led by Vladimir Rass, the former CEO of MindShare Russia.
This deal, and the acquisition of Echo Research earlier this month, brings the number of Ebiquity’s offices to 21 across 14 countries offering an increasing range of services to help brand owners continuously improve their media and marketing performance.
